Hi Scott,
After fifty years of following hounds, I thought I had just about seen it all. That was before I had seen Dixie. Most of my life has depended on having top hounds and that’s what I always made sure I had.
Dixie is nine and a half months young and I have not quite seen a hound display such raw natural talent at such a young age. I have an incredible bond with her. I named her after another unbelievable bluetick I had in the 70’s and early 80’s.
It was worth every mile of the trip I made from north Idaho to Colorado to pick her up….and believe me…words really can not describe her.  A person would have to see her in action to know what I mean.
 Thank You so much,
Sincerely Kevin B.

Ace is really doing good this year.  I waited to shoot my first cat with my own dog.  It worked out great and I got a jumbo tom with Ace. This is his third cat so far this year

She is very gritty and I can drag coon scent about 500 yards and turn her lose and she puts her head down and burns the track I'm very impressed with her.

Hi Scott we have done a lot of training on Pete and Bosie they follow drags real good. We have got a good handle on manners. We will be working on more drags today. They are hell on our cats love to chase. We have a good snow storm coming in next couple of days and lion season opens tomorrow planing on giving it a shot. Your pups helped us fulfill a life long dream of a family friend thanks for the hounds.

My name is Nick I bought a pup from you 2 1/2 years ago. Just thought I would let you know Yager is doing awesome. I will send you a picture. He has treed four lions solo one weighed 160 lbs. Last winter he really turned on towards the end. I am hoping for a lot of cool pix this winter.

Ace took to trailing instantly and was trailing his coon tail toy at 11 weeks. At 8 months he trailed his first live release like that was what he was born to do. Initially he didn't seem to get mad or bark at the cats but he finally caught one on the ground. That finally seemed to flip the switch! Now he goes crazy when he sees a cat. Just recently when Ace was 11 months old he made a good run and even treed with the encouragement of another dog. I can't wait to see how he continues to progress! Ace is a Quick learner and catches on quickly to anything  I train him to do. He has a great disposition and I would recommend your dogs to anyone.

Scott, Wanted to drop you a quick message thanking you for Mickey! He has turned out to be a fabulous dog! Rough Start as a puppy but an exceptional adult dog. If anyone ever questions how they turn out just as a spoiled pet :) you can have them call us. He is well mannered and behaves as expected with children, in the car, on and off leash, plays hard, and loves biking! He has quite the bay and would have been a good hunter, if trained, sorry. His coat is shiny and he is healthy at 70 lbs and tall. Merry Christmas and thank you once more.

Scott-Both pups are doing excellent and performing above my expectations. They took to a drag at 4 months like no other hound I've seen not just showing interest but driving the track and working it out in challenging situations. I enjoyed the opportunity to spend a weekend watching your dogs trail and tree a nice Tom and run those bobcats. There are plenty of weekend warriors and outfitters who only run during season out there but only a handful that make their living running hounds on big game year round who absolutely depend on great dogs. Arky & Cameron blood from solid, proven big game hounds is what lead me to ROCKY MOUNTAIN BLUE TICKS. Your confidence in your dogs and willingness to prove them sealed the deal.
Thank You!
Feel free to provide my name/number to anyone interested in your pups. I'd be happy to talk with them.

Hello!  Hope this email finds you doing good. I don't know if you remember me but I bought  2  pups from you last year. You asked me to send pics and keep you up to date on how the pups are working for me. Well yesterday 12/23/2009 my pups treed their first lion, with the help of our adult dogs but I have to tell you the one pup likes to climb. Yesterday my dad and I turned out on a fresh lion track and about 4 hours later and 3 miles back in the canyon the dogs had a nice female lion treed. When we got to the the tree my pup was in the tree with the lion.... she was not giving up she kept climbing and climbing, I told my dad he had better shoot before the lion killed my dog. Thank god she was ok. It took everything I had to pull her away from that cat when ready to head back to truck. Unfortunately I didn't have time to take any pictures to send with this email but I did want to inform you on how GREAT my dogs are turning out. My dad was sure impressed! Next hunt I hope to get some pictures of the girls and  I will send some your way.
Thanks for the good blood lines...... MERRY CHRISTMAS

My pup caught on so fast and is totally fearless. He is a vital part of my pack whether were chasin' lions or
riggin' bears. I will be in touch when I'm ready for another bluetick pup.

Im writing to let you know of a very unfortunate event that happened to the bluetick pup I got from you a little over 2 years ago. Rita had become my best lion dog in short order. She was easy to handle and straight a
young dog as I've ever seen. Earlier this winter we ran a nice tom lion and Rita bayed the lion up high on a cliff, the lion charged as we approached and Ritas' life ended that fast!! We got the lion, but I am without my best
dog. Please let me know if you have any more pups.
Thank you

For a young dog I am in AWE of  what this pup has done so far. He is all business. His nose is always on the ground, he drives a track hard with a powerhouse voice and never misses a breath at the tree. He is extremely tuff footed compared to my other dogs. I think  the bloodlines you are breeding  are as good as any blue dogs I know of.

From the minute I picked my pup up at the airport I was impressed! I walked him to his first lion tree at 5
months old and he has shined ever since. Now just barely over a year old, he is my best tree dog and has a booming mouth.

We are doing awesome! I've decided on the name Moose for this little girl. She did great on the trip back and is getting along with my other dog pretty well. She hasn't shown any sign of separation anxiety at all. I took here on a hike up the hill behind my house and she followed every step of the way. She did great in the snow and the steep terrain. I couldn't be happier with this little pup! Thank you again.

Kink is an incredible dog, kind of a jerk to other males but has taken the role as Alpha. Kink ran down a female cougar, caught up with her on the ground and held her at bay until the other dogs caught up to him! He is also a good friend with a great personality. He is the only hound I have ever taken to the dog park to play. He goes mountain biking with me and plays fetch with the kids.
